The popularly fetish priest Kwaku Bonsam has claimed he helped Kumasi Asante Kotoko to beat Accra Hearts of Oak in last Monday’s Ghana Premier League (GPL) match which Kotoko won
by a lone goal.
In a radio interview on Kasapa FM, Kwaku Bonsam said all he was looking for in return from Kotoko was an acknowledgement that his god –
Kofi Kofi – helped them with that “Mallam Goal.’ He said if the management of Kotoko fails to acknowledge his help, then calamities will befall the porcupine warriors including a series of match
losses.
He said he predicted the strange goal that determined the outcome of the match when no
other pastor or fetish priest had said anything about it.
According to him, he doesn’t need any monetary gratitude but due acknowledgement. He added that he boldly made that prediction on Kasapa FM at a time when people had called him crazy for making wild predictions.
